Spotify has become an essential platform for music distribution and discovery in today's music industry. However, the Spotify experience can be less satisfying for fans of full albums. Here’s how you can tweak the settings to take control of your listening habits and enjoy music the way you prefer.

We love the experience of listening to a complete collection of songs in the order the artist intended. Yet, Spotify prioritizes algorithmically curated playlists over full albums. This can frustrate those who enjoy immersing themselves deeply in an artist’s work.

▪️Turn Off AutoplayOne feature that can disrupt the album listening experience is autoplay, which continues to play similar songs after an album finishes. To disable this feature, go to "Settings" and turn off the "Autoplay" option. This simple adjustment ensures that albums end in silence, allowing you to decide what to listen to next without unwanted interruptions.

▪️Listen to Multiple Albums by the Same ArtistFor those who enjoy listening to several albums by the same artist in sequence, Spotify offers an indirect way to do this:

1. Go to the artist’s profile page.

2. In the "Discography" section, click on "Show all".

3. Select the first album to play all albums in order from the newest to the oldest. While a chronological order would be preferred, this method effectively explores an artist’s entire discography without interruptions.

▪️ Avoid Algorithmic PlaylistsTo discover new music without repeating the same songs, look for playlists curated by real users. These playlists offer a more diverse selection than those labeled "Made for You," which Spotify’s algorithm generates.

Summary: These adjustments can significantly enhance your Spotify listening experience, allowing you to enjoy music in a more personalized way and providing you with tools to reach a wider audience.
