Don't forget to add at least one collaborator to your song!

It must be the composer, lyricist and/or the songwriters. In 2021 this requirement became essential. The purpose is to give credit to collaborators and comply with industry content standards. Currently, this field is mandatory during the release creation process.

The composer, lyricist, and/or songwriters of the song must be provided in the artist information and also in the release creation by adding them to each track.

To do this, it will be necessary to indicate the full legal name (first + last name), not artist aliases or alternative names. If this information is not provided correctly, releases will be rejected for correction.

For example, Abel Tesfaye is the legal name of The Weekend.

For a song by The Weekend, the composer/lyricist/songwriters would be Abel Tesfaye.

Note: You will not be asked to edit all previous catalogs. However, if you choose to edit a release, you will be asked to add a composer.
